ISLAMABAD – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday lambasted India for alleging Pakistan without any evidence for the Uri attack, adding that Pakistan cannot initiate any investigation of the Uri attack because India itself does not have any evidence for it.
While speaking at a press conference held in Islamabad, the Federal Interior Minister stated that India aims to defame Pakistan by accusing it without any evidence.
“When Indian lies were exposed, it placed restrictions or censorship on the media,” said Nisar, referring to reports of the Indian Ministry of Defence ordering media to ‘pre-verify’ news related to the Indian army.
Nisar said that Pakistan will send reference to Interpol over Baloch exiled leader Brahamdagh Bugti, who had filed asylum in India.
The minister appreciated the ‘bold’ steps of MQM Pakistan leader Dr Farooq Sattar, saying no one even could think MQM founder Altaf Hussain’s own party would stand against him.
“We should give space to the people who stood against those who raised anti-Pakistan slogans,” he added.
