GUJRAT (Web Desk) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday killed an alleged terrorist during an operation in Gujrat.
According to the details, the operation was carried out on a tip-off that five terrorists were residing in a house in Rakh Pabi area in Gujrat. During encounter, the terrorists opened fire at the security personnel but in retaliation, a terrorist was killed however his four accomplices managed to flee the scene.
According to some media reports, the terrorist was killed by his fellows instead of Police. The identity of the terrorist is still unknown as per the CTD spokesman. Reportedly, the terrorists were planning to target security personnel.
The CTD spokesman also informed that two hand grenades and other ammunition were recovered during the operation while efforts are underway to arrest other terrorists.
