JAMSHORO – Ten members of a family, including children and woman, were killed after two passengers busses rammed into a van, making it sandwich, on the Indus Highway near Sann, a small town in Jamshoro district, in wee hours of Sunday.
The two buses coming from opposite directions – one from Jamshoro and other from Sehwan – at high speed when they collided with the ill-fated Suzuki van, en route to Sehwan from Larkana.
The deceased include six children, three women and a man have been identified as Reshma, Saira, Saima, Kamil, Ahmed Jamil, Jamshed, Iqra, Ajwa, Khushboo and Badruddin.
During the accident, some passengers of the buses were also injured. The injured and bodies have been shifted to Sann Hospital.
According to police, the drivers of both buses fled from the scene and search is underway to trace them.
