ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Powerful tremors of earthquake were felt in Chitral and surrounding areas, local media reports said on Monday.
The tremors were also felt in other cities in northern part of country including Malakand and Sawat.
The epicentre of earthquake was said to be 80km deep in Hindukush region. The magnitude of earthquake was 5.2 at Richter Scale, according to meteorological department.
There are no reports of losses to life and property in incidents linked to the earthquake.
