Insurance service for Islamabad-Lahore Motorway travelers launched

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – For commuters facilitation Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) has launched of toll-to-toll Motorway insurance, a first of its kind initiative in Pakistan.

All Islamabad-Lahore Motorway (M-2) commuters can now enjoy an insured journey on M-2 Motorway. At first stage, insurance will be offered to passengers and vehicles against partial damage, total
loss of vehicle, injury due to accident and death due to accident.

Accidental life insurance will be provided by Adamjee life Insurance Company Ltd, whereas Asia Care and Crescent Star Insurance will provide health and vehicle insurance services respectively.

The service can be obtained easily by purchasing an insurance ticket from the toll booth, which will be valid from M-2 entry till M-2 exit and will expire within 24 hours.

All commuters entering the motorway in vehicles and meeting the age requirement will be covered.

This unique initiative is being appreciated by the civil society and the government and is a testament of FWO’s quest to provide the public with unmatched services in the region through projects that add value to the lives of the public at large.
