LAHORE – Drizzle in the city brought the temperature further down, making the weather cold on Tuesday.
Overcast sky and sporadic showers at different pockets of the city and adjacent areas pushed the temperature further down which was recorded 5.3 degree Celsius on Tuesday morning.
According to the Met office, a strong westerly wave is prevailing over the country. This weather system (westerly wave) is expected to produce more rains/snowfall in the country till Thursday.
“Rain-thunderstorm (with snowfall over the hills) is expected at numbers of places in Balochistan, KP, FATA, Islamabad, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at scattered places in Sindh. Isolated heavy fall is also expected in Makran, Kalat and Quetta divisions”, daily weather report said. – APP
