KARACHI – Uber, who recently launched its first-ever rickshaw service in Lahore, has launched the same service in Karachi.
The announcement was made by the company yesterday on its website.
“Starting today (November 24), Uber riders in Karachi can request a rickshaw with the convenience and affordability of Uber; forget the hassle of flagging one off the street or negotiating your fare. Simply move the slider to ‘uberAUTO’ and tap ‘request’ – within minutes your rickshaw will arrive and you can pay using cash, or card,” read a post on the website.
Uber launched the latest initiative to stay one step ahead of its chief rival and competitor, Careem when it comes to online transportation services in Pakistan.
