MULTAN – The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Multan has established a new park in the city near Science College in Ilyas town.
Director Horticulture Hafiz Naeem Abbas said the park had best landscape and would turn out to be a better recreational facility for the communities around, PHA-Multan officials said on Wednesday.
The facilities included a beautiful gazebo, swings, dustbins, benches, planters, and walking tracks. Better lighting arrangements have been put in place and there are a number of different trees to add beauty to the landscape.
The swings installed at the park would be an enjoyable experience for kids, Hafiz Naeem said.
The park has been completed with untiring efforts by horticulture and engineering staff of the PHA, Hafiz said adding that more such parks would be built in the city soon.
Meanwhile, PHA Multan was also engaged in planting saplings on the green belts, Metro Bus route and other places under the ‘Green and Clean’ drive in Multan.
