SEOUL – Smartphone Samsung recently announced its first triple-camera Galaxy A7 smartphone and planning to unveil it on October 11 at Galaxy Event.
According to an AllAboutSamsung new report, the South Korean is also expected to unveil the world’s first quad-camera smartphone A9 Pro (2018) at the event.
The report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2018) also know as Galaxy A9 Star Pro will feature four camera modules at the back comprising of a 24MP primary sensor and an 8MP camera sensor with a super wide-angle lens of a 120-degree field of view. There will be two zoom lenses of 10MP and 5MP respectively on the rear side, as per the report.
There’s a 24-megapixel Sony IMX 576 selfie camera will also be present up front.
The concept image of Galaxy A9 Pro suggests an adaptive design of Galaxy A7, albeit with a rear fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone will feature a 6.28-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and two storage options – 64GB and 128GB.
To power the SoC there’s a 3,720mAh battery and Android 8.1 OS.
However, all the specifications are still based on rumors so it’s worth waiting for the official confirmation on the day of Samsung’s event.
