KARACHI – Sindh High Court (SHC) has terminated two female magistrates for altering documents in order to reduce their age to enable them to get a job. The registrar has issued a notification in this regard.
After finding them guilty after an investigation, the SHC fired Magistrate Ambar Iqbal and Magistrate Maria Jabbar Dogar. They were performing their duties in Shikarpur and East Karachi respectively.
According to the inquiry report, the pair had changed their dates of birth in order to become eligible for the job.
