Just one day after opening: Bacha Khan University Charsadda closed for indefinite period

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) –Terrorists-hit Bacha Khan University Charsadda on Monday closed for indefinite period just one day remain open after a terrorists attack.

A public relations officer for the varsity said the institution has been closed due to maintenance work and cold weather.

It is pertinent to mention here that the university reopened on Monday (today), four days after a terrorist attack left 21 people including students, a professor, and security guards martyred and more than 30 injured.

Strict security measures were in place at the university, with leave cancelled for police personnel posted on guard duty at the campus.

On Sunday, Vice-Chancellor of the Bacha Khan University Dr Fazal-ur-Rahim Marwat said the university would reopen for staff on Monday and that classes will resume shortly.
