Country s banks will remain open for one day ONLY between July 1st and 10th

LAHORE (Web Desk) – In the first ten days of July country’s banks will only remain open only for one day. If you want to approach the bank for transactions make quickly. Cheques submitted on 30th June will not be cleared before 11th July. Citizens are in preparations for Eid.

According to details, the banks will remain closed on 1st of July for six months audit. On 2nd and 3rd of July bank will remain closed for weekly holidays in the first week of the month. The Banks will remain open only on the 4th of July.

From 5th of July, Eid holidays will start until 8th July. On 9th and 10th of July, banks will remain closed for the weekly holiday.

However, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), through a latest circular, ordered all branches of commercial banks to remain open on July 2 and 9 (Saturdays).

“Commercial banks shall strictly ensure availability of ATM services round the clock. For early replenishment of cash at ATMs, banks shall make proper arrangements of currency stock at the respective ATM feeding branches”, the order stated.

“Further, banks shall make public the contact numbers of the focal person for quick redressal of all complaints relating to malfunctioning or shortage of currency notes in ATMs”, it added.
