Nisar hails efforts of FC for restoring peace in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said that peace has been restored in Balochistan as a result of the government’s effective policies and sacrifices of the security forces.

He was addressing a passing out parade ceremony of Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel in Loralai today.

The minister appreciated the role of FC in maintaining law and order situation in the province. He also reiterated the government’s resolve to take the war on terror to its logical end, reported local media.

He said the brave forces have played a vital role in restoring peace in the country, and the terrorist groups will soon be eliminated.

Nisar Ali Khan said that some elements were not wanting peace and progress in the province, as they were trying to using the youth of Balochistan by taking money from Pakistans’s enemies.

He said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project will bring about a revolution of development in the country, especially in Balochistan.

He said that Rs 70 billion have been spent on the security of the country and no compromise will be made in this regard.

Earlier, the Interior Minister was briefed on the law and order situation in the province by Inspector General Frontier Corps Maj. Gen. Nadeem Anjum.

He said the force has been running sixty-four schools in the province wherein over nineteen thousand children are getting education.  As many as sixty-five thousand patients have also been provided free medical facility.
