Sharing his thoughts on Instagram handle Ahsan Khan has stated that people should never forget the positive side of the award-giving platform as the always help the stars in achieving big.

Khan also recalled his last year’s achievement of getting the best actor award by the lux style fraternity for his role on child abuse. He also thanked the award giving firm for giving him an opportunity to present a song on sexual harassment case.

The Udaari star has also emphasized not to make any judgement by its own and he asserted that one should wait for the results. He further kept on saying that anyone can accuse anyone and we should trust the courts for the final decision instead of making a judgement on our own.

The LSA nominations controversy started after Meesha Shafi’s song ‘Mein’ was nominated for the best song but she demanded that her name and work be removed from the list of nominees given the current circumstances.

In a social media message, Shafi expressed her desire to back down from the nomination and wrote:

“I want to thank Eman Suleman. What she, Generation and Saima Bargfrede have said and done is what I consider my award.”

She added, “In a perfect world, I would love to see women retain their space in the industry while being safe so that the cost of speaking up is minimized, or even done away with altogether. A cost which is all too high at present. Our boycotts should not overshadow our achievements. With brave women like these, I feel optimistic about getting there one day.”
