ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Board of Investment has identified 15 sites for the establishment of Special Industrial Zones alongside China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
According to sources, in consultation with all the provinces, BoI have identified at least seven sites in Balochistan and eight in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also constituted a committee to identify the potential sites of industrial zones along western passage of CPEC.
Meanwhile, implementation of work on Gwadar Free Zone has already begun and land for this purpose had been handed over to the Port Operator.
