ISLAMABAD – Special prayer “Nimaz-e-Istasqa” was offered at Aiwan-e-Sadr to seek blessings of Allah Almighty for rain to end the long dry spell.
Prayer was offered at Aiwan-e-Sadr which was attended, among others, by President Mamnoon Hussain.
President on Sunday had made an appeal to the nation to seek Allah Almighty’s blessings and hold countrywide special prayers for rain.
The president had also asked Ulema to lead the prayers across the length and breadth of the country and pray to the Almighty for a rain of blessings to end the drought.-Online
