Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra and US singer Nick Jonas (Nickyanka) who became the talk of the town with their whirlwind romance and wedding earlier this month will now become a part of The Simpsons universe.
Chopra and Jonas, who tied the knot in both Hindu and Christian ceremonies on December 1 and 2 in Jodhpur, will be immortalized as the popular yellow characters.
Their wedding had generated wide curiosity in the media due to the presence of the who’s who of the Indian and American film industries.

The newly married Bollywood actor shared artwork of her and Jonas as characters in The Simpsons, with both of them sporting The Simpsons look with the trademark protruding upper lips.
The first picture that Chopra shared shows the two standing together as a married couple in traditional Hindu wedding garb, complete with all the accompanying jewelry, as the Simpson family looks on.

Many fans loved “The Simpsons” twist to their wedding festivities, but others had some questions about the different skin tone in both the images.
Rino Russo worked on the Hindu wedding artwork while Stefano Monda made the Christian wedding artwork.
Social media users, of course, could not resist commenting:
One user wrote: “Your skin is changing more color than that of a white man”, and another wrote: “I am confused. You’re brown-skinned in the other and yellow skinned here?”
