KARACHI (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will Friday meet a cancer patient Anwarullah Afridi in Karachi to fulfill the latter’s desire.
According to a statement, Anwarullah Afridi had wished to meet the Prime Minister. The wish was conveyed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who happily agreed to meet the cancer patient.
During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif is expected to inquire after the health of ailing child and wish him a better life. The premier will also present a special gift to the cancer patient.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will also perform the ground-breaking ceremony of Green Line Bus Rapid Transit System in Karachi – first ever Rapid Transit system of the country to be initiated by the federal government.
The Green Line Bus Rapid Transit System is a significant milestone in upgrading and decongesting the overburdened transport infrastructure of Karachi as well as reducing the cost and travel time for the residents of Karachi, said a PM House statement on Thursday.
