LAHORE – Difficulties for embattled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are swelling with each passing day as now they have surrounded Punjab’s leadership after sending Nawaz Sharif to pavilion from Center.
At the time, Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique came forward with an appeal not to off-track Pakistan.
The minister took to Twitter on Monday, stating: “A nefarious campaign against PML-N and its governments is in full swing”. He added negative elements in political parties and state institution are hell-bent on destroying democracy”.

“Illegal use of justice and accountability departments is creating unrest and anarchy,” the minister stated.
In his second tweet, Rafique said that democratic persons have been termed a danger to national integrity for past 70 years, but public always elected them through their votes. He added that the PML-N will bag victory this year if elections are held.
He urged, “Beloved justice and accountability officials” to stop it what is being termed an injustice by the PML-N. He also asked them “Let Pakistan move on”.

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had to go home in July last year after he was disqualified by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the Panamagate verdict. Three corruption references were filed by the National Accountability Bureau againt Nawaz, his children – Maryam, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz – and son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar in the light of the verdict.
