LAHORE – Early morning on Tuesday, DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor announced to the media that IAF jets had tried to violate Pakistani airspace but were successfully chased out by PAF. However, one word from the DG ISPR tweet has caused panic in Pakistan: Balakot.
The Indian government claims to have successfully carried out a surgical strike while the Pakistani armed forces have vehemently denied the claims. On Tuesday afternoon (today) The foreign minister also briefed the meeting regarding Pakistan India relations, after the Pulwama attacks in Indian Occupied Kashmir and recent intrusion by the Indian aircraft across LoC.
The meeting was also briefed on Pakistan’s air defense control system and exchanged views regarding Pakistan’s reply to the Indian aggression.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also informed the meeting about the International community’s response on Pakistan’s stance on Pulwama attacks aftermath.
