ISLAMABAD (APP) – Foreign Minister of the Republic of Maldives Ms. Dunya Maumoon will undertake an official visit to Pakistan from January 27 to 29.
According to Foreign Office, during the three days visit, the foreign minister will call on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and will also hold meetings with the Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs.
In these meetings, Pakistan and Maldives will review the various aspects of their bilateral relations.
The Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs will host a lunch in honour of the Foreign Minister and her delegation.
Pakistan and Maldives enjoy close and cordial relations, which are based on mutual trust, common faith and understanding.
Pakistan and Maldives have been actively cooperating with each other at the regional as well as the multilateral fora.
