LAHORE – A furious father reached the district and sessions court Lahore, seeking a case against his son for ‘talking to girls late at night’ from his cell phone.
Haji Sadiq filed a plea in the court and pleaded that he was trying to stop his son from gossiping with girls for several months but in vain.
According to the man, his son Irfan completely ignored his orders and went on with his habit even during the holy month of Ramazan.
The man argued in his petition that his son goes to the rooftop to talk to the girls from his mobile.
The petitioner added that he told his son to pay attention to his studies to ensure a better future, but all the pieces of advice fell on deaf ears.
Sadiq stated that he noticed his son talking to someone on the phone a few days ago and asked him to hand over the cellular device.
However, the son refused to hand over the phone, which made the father’s doubts even stronger.
After failing to have stopped his son to refrain from all such activity during the holy month, he ultimately reached the Shahdara police station to get an FIR registered against his son.
However, the police officials refused to file the case, citing legal injunctions.
Taking a strong exception to the refusal, Haj Sadiq urged the court to direct the SHO to register the FIR against his son. The court has sought comments from the SHO.
