PESHAWAR (Staff Report) – Police authorities have recovered a large cache of sophisticated weapons from a four-seat vehicle during checking in Badaber area of Peshawar on Thursday.
According to officials weapons were placed in secret pockets of the car and being smuggled to Punjab.
The recovered arms included 44 Short Machine Guns, 4 automatic rifles, 4 pistols and more than 33 thousand bullets.
One person was also arrested in the action.
Meanwhile Police have recovered two rockets in a separate action in Rimak area of the city.
