LAHORE – Pakistani batsman Babar Azam scored his first ever Test hundred in a commanding display against New Zealand on Sunday. The sportsman was the star of the day, but, what should have been a day to celebrate, was actually marred by something completely unrelated to cricket.
Babar completely lost his cool after cricket analyst Zainab Abbas referred to him as coach Mickey Arthur’s “son”.
Soon after Azam smashed his maiden Test ton, the cricketers, analysts and his fans took to Twitter to commend him for his super duper performance.
Zainab Abbas’ congratulatory tweet read: “Well played Babar Azam – loved how the boys went congratulating Mickey Arthur celebrating his “son’s” century.”
In reply, Azam slammed Abbas for “crossing her limits”.
