LAHORE-According to Hum Tv officials, Pakistan government has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Indian film Kaabil, which is now set to release in the country today. It will be the first Bollywood film to waive off the four-month-long ban, which was due to ongoing Indo-Pak tensions.
Cinema owner and distributor Nadeem Mandviwalla said, “The cinema owners and industry suffered a lot of losses due to the suspension of Indian films screenings. But now it is getting back to normal.”
Hrithik has also retweeted a tweet from Kaabil’s Twitter account, “The wait is now over! Pre-book your tickets & watch Kaabil at a theater near you.”
Kabil is directed by ‘Jazbaa’ director Sanjay Gupta. The story revolves around a blind man who goes on a mission to avenge his girlfriend’s murder. A lot of action and thrill is also expected to be in it.
