Pakistan for making children center of post-2015 development agenda
Washington (APP) – Pakistan's Ambassador to the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi has called for children to be "front and centre" of the post-2015 development agenda.

In her presidential address of the annual session of UNICEF's Executive Board in New York, she hoped the Sustainable Development Goals and post-2015 agenda will improve the lives and change the destinies of millions more children.

Ambassador Dr Maleeha Lodhi has termed the post-2015 Agenda as a roadmap for future development and said it is need to continue to work together for the best interests of children.

She emphasized the need to reach all the children with interventions in the crucial early years, with health care, nutrition, education, protection and an enabling environment in which their full potential is realized.

UNICEF's Executive Board will review the agency's activities and approves its policies in its annual session.
