ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Top real estate businessman Malik Riaz has come to rescue the under detention supermodel Ayyan Ali on the request of former federal interior minster Rehman Malik, Pak Destiny said on Friday.
Malik, who owns a countrywide chain of housing scheme Bahria Town, is appealed by the former minister to prove the innocence of the model, who was arrested by customs officials while smuggling $500,000 to Dubai earlier this month.
He will ensure the court that will legitimately prove the model earned the money by selling her properties in Bahria Town Karachi, the website quoted a source saying, all documentation has been completed in this regard.
According to Customs officials, Ayyan maintains that she acquired the money by selling property.
Khalid Malik who is legal counsel of Ayyan Ali and brother of former PPP government minister Rehman Malik had informed the court that his client sold as many as five properties in Karachi to earn the money.
The supermodel is said to be enjoying VVIP treatment at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi and a newspaper said while quoting an official “she is supermodel and enjoys super facilities”.
