ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan and South Korea have reiterated to further enhance cooperation in the fields of Information Technology, Cyber Space Consultations, Agriculture, Education and Energy.
The understanding came during The 9th Round of the Bilateral Political Consultations between the two countries in Islamabad on Friday.
Acting Foreign Secretary Mohammad Waheed-ul-Hasan led Pakistan side at the talks. The Korean delegation was led by First Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Korea Lim Sung-nam.
The two sides also agreed to increase cooperation for employment opportunities for Pakistan workers in Korea and increasing Korean investment in Pakistan.
Both sides expressed deep satisfaction at the continued growth of mutually beneficial cooperation in diverse fields including trade, commerce, economic development, security and defence.
The Korean First Vice Minister also called on Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal.
During the meeting, the need for further enhancing political, trade and economic ties was underlined.
