MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh is all set to tie knot to his long-time girlfriend and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra. The marriage ceremony which will take place on October 29 in Harbhajan’s home town Jalandhar, is witnessing the pre-wedding events in full flow.
A picture of the beautiful couple Harbhajan and Geeta in celebrations mode taken during the mehandi night is creating flutters. Earlier, the gorgeous bride was also seen enjoying her happening bachelorette party with gal pals.
Harbhajan Singh who has recently was a part of Indian squad against the South Africa in 5ODI series looks all geared up to shed bachelor tag. Seen in the picture with his would-be bride, the 35-year-old is all smiles. As for Geeta, she looks ravishing in pink-yellow lehenga as she wraps her arm around the man of her dreams.
A lot of preparations have gone into the high-profile wedding. From carefully coordinating their wedding outfits to crafted invitation cards, the couple have ensured to make it a dream wedding. Raghavendra Rathore is designing clothes for Harbhajan for his wedding, a dark blue velvet achkan with embroidery. In rituals conducted in Gurudwara Bhajji will sport a peach coloured kurta.
Meanwhile, the bride Geeta will be matching her outfits with Harbhajan. She will be seen wearing a traditional red and gold coloured lehenga designed by Archana Kochha. Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra wedding rituals will take place at Phagwara, 20 kilometres from Jalandhar.
Harbhajan and Geeta’s wedding is third high-profile wedding taking place in the Indian cricket after Suresh Raina marrying childhood sweetheart Priyanka Chaudhary and wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik got hitched to squash player Dipika Pallikal. Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma also announced his engagement with sports manager Ritika Sajdeh.
