ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC unanimously recommended the Federal Government that the Western route should be built as a dual carriageway
A meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was held under the chairmanship of Mushahid Hussain Syed in the Parliament House.
Briefing the committee, Chairman NHA, Shahid Tarar and DG FWO, Major General Mohammad Afzal said that the Western route was being built on a priority basis.
The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC unanimously recommended the Federal Government that the Western route should be built as a dual carriageway.
Mushahid Hussain said that the committee would preserve, promote and protect the rights and interests of the smaller provinces.
