NAROWAL – Police have registered a case against a woman for burning down the bedroom of her husband’s first wife in Narowal city of Punjab.
The case was registered on a complaint lodged by her husband, stating that the suspect also assaulted her month-in-led and fled with valuables.
The incident took place in the Sankhtra area of Narowal where the co-wife threw petrol and set fire to the first wife’s room, destroying household items.
The man stated that his love marriage with the second wife took place about a month and a half ago. It all started when a fight erupted between his two wives.
A case has been registered based on the complaint of the man, while locals managed to douse the fire with their own efforts.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
