ISLAMABAD – Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan called on Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday to discuss issues related to national security.
The newly appointed foreign minister also discussed foreign policy issues besides regional and international matters with the air chief.
Earlier on Monday, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at his office. The military chief, in his first ever meeting with the 22nd prime minister of Pakistan, congratulated Imran Khan on assuming the office and conveyed his good wishes for steering the country.
Both the civil-military bigwigs discussed the security situation and expressed resolve to bring enduring peace and stability in the country while also continuing efforts for regional peace.
