KARACHI: Sindh’s Apex Committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was held in Karachi to review the implementation of National Action Plan.
Inspector General Police (IGP) AD Khawaja briefed the Committee on the kidnapping of the Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice’s son Awais Shah and said that the police and other agencies were working day and night on the case.
He told the meeting that Amjad Sabri was killed by a 30-bore caliber pistol, adding that this was an unusual weapon for target killers.
He said that three main lines of investigation were being pursued and that investigators had still not ruled out a property dispute or sectarian sentiments as motives for the killing.
