NEW YORK- Joe Jackson, the father of Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson and patriarch of the most famous pop family, lost his battle to terminal cancer and died at the age of 89. Jackson death was confirmed by TMZ. Reportedly, he breathed his last on Wednesday at 3: 30 am in Los Angeles. Joseph had planned to spend the final days of his life in Las Vegas, but that couldn’t happen.
His grandson and other members of the family have also confirmed the sad news of his demise.
Joe Jackson had been suffering from poor health in the past couple of years. He had already suffered a stroke and three heart attacks in the year 2015. A year back, he also got injured in a car accident, as per reports.
His last tweet dated June 25, read, “I have seen more sunsets than I have left to see. The sun rises when the time comes and whether you like it or not the sun sets when the time comes.”
