LONDON – In a statement released by Kensington Palace, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to get married at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
In their first interview together, Meghan and Prince Harry revealed the details of the sweet proposal Harry made to Meghan on a cosy night in while they were preparing roasted chicken for dinner. Meghan told how she wouldn’t let Harry finish and was ready to say yes.
Prince Harry also mentioned the absence of his mother on this special occasion.
“It’s days like today that I really I miss having her around and being able to share the happy news but with the ring, and with everything else going on, I’m sure she’s with us,” he said.
To that Meghan added that “she’s with us”. She also admired the ring and commented, “I think everything about Harry’s thoughtfulness and the inclusion of Diana’s diamonds and obviously not being able to meet his mom, it’s so important to know that she is a part of this with us.”
