PTI chief accepts MQM vote bank in Karachi

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday accepted that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has a vast vote bank in Karachi and it won the NA-246 by poll “rightfully”.

PTI chief, while talking to media at his residence, said my only objection to the NA-246 election is that our candidate was harassed by MQM workers during the electioneering. He affirmed that PTI will continue struggling for the restoration of peace in Karachi.

He declared that Karachi was still being ruled by the tyranny.

Khan said that his party has enough evidences to prove the allegation of rigging in general elections 2013. We will submit as many as 126,000 documents to the judicial commission to prove our claim that election results were manipulated in 74 constituencies at least, he announced.

He went on to say that 2015 is the election year once again.

He expressed his full confidence in the members of judicial commission formed to look into the rigging allegations on the occasion.

PTI head, while answering a question, said that he has accepted the recommendation of reelection in the party and a commission has been constituted in this regard. He dismissed the reports that suggested there were differences in the party over the proposed reelection.
