Lahore- The ongoing feud of Meesha Shafi and Ali Zafar has caused a storm as Shafi accuses Zafar of sexually harassing her. The case has now taken a legal turn. Unfortunately singer Shafi has been a recent target of memes and hate posts over social media for speaking up against her colleague.
People accused her of doing all this for fame and publicity. Celebrities like Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ayesha Omar, Momina Mustehsan and Urwa Hocane gave their stance on this matter even. We even saw women coming forward and supporting Ali Zafar.
Now actor Ali Tahir has stepped forward to speak on this issue. He educated people more by saying:
“Sexual harassment is any act an individual does by way of messages, jokes or touching one other individual without consent.”
He further continued his statement;
“That is the truth that sexual harassment cane result in rape through which instances like Zainab case happened.”
He then shuts down all the Meesha Shafi haters by saying and clarifying;
“For all those people who find themselves saying that Meesha Shafi has executed this simply due to low cost publicity stunt let me inform you that Meesha is already a well known individual. Why would she must do an affordable publicity.”
