ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has asked all private channels to introduce delayed broadcasting and editorial system to ensure implementation of the code of conduct.
In its meeting in Islamabad today, the Authority endorsed fine of one million rupees on a private television channel for broadcasting objectionable material.
The channel has been asked to pay fine and express regrets by 13th of next month.
