QUETTA- The brother of the teen girl, who was found dead under mysterious circumstance in her house in killi Ismail, has confessed to raping and then killing her sister, shared the police on Monday.
The 13-year-old was found dead in her house on Sunday and was taken to Civil Hospital Quetta. The medical report had confirmed that the girl was raped and strangled to death.
A high-level police investigation team was formed to investigate the brutal act. The team comprised of senior officers from the special branch, counter-terrorism department and crime branch.
According to the DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema, the victim’s brother confessed to the crime in the initial stage of the investigation. The suspect has been arrested and his blood samples and pieces of evidence, have been sent to the forensic laboratory for further proof, he added.
