OGRA recommends Rs5.40 per litre hike in petrol price

ISLAMABAD – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary to finance ministry on Friday recommending Rs 5.40 per litre hike in petrol price.

The regulator has recommended the ministry to hike prices of petroleum products for the month of July; high-speed diesel has been proposed to go up by Rs 6.20 per litre.

Summary dispatched to the ministry has sought an increase in prices of light-speed diesel and kerosene oil by Rs 10.50 per litre and Rs 12 per litre respectively.

Revised prices of petroleum products will be enacted after Prime Minister (PM) Nasirul Mulk’s approval.

The current price of petrol is Rs91.96 per litre, high-speed diesel Rs105.31 per, light diesel Rs74.99 per litre and Kerosene oil Rs84.34 per litre.
