MELBOURNE – Following the crushing defeat by an innings and 18 runs at the hands of Australia on Friday, a depressed Misbah-ul-Haq hinted about his retirement from international cricket. He said that he would make a decision about retiring within the next two or three days.
The 42-year-old Pakistan test captain made these comments during the post-match conference after losing the series 2-0.
“The time has come for me to make a decision about the future,” he said. “If I am not performing then I have no right to remain in the team,” he added.
