ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary recommending a price decrease to the Petroleum Ministry from February 1.
According to the summary, OGRA has recommended Rs 10/litre decrease in the price of petrol and Rs8.50/litre in the price of diesel.
If the summary is approved the price of petrol will decrease to Rs 68.28/litre from February 1. The price of diesel will fall to Rs 77.73/litre while after Rs 12 decrease the price of kerosene oil will decrease to Rs59.92/litre.
High-Octane will decrease by Rs 14 after which the new price will be Rs 78.13/litre.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had also announced a petroleum price decrease on the start of new month during his visit Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) earlier today.
