Sargodha prostitution ring: Educated girls from poor families taken abroad, forced to sell bodies

SARGODHA (Web Desk) – Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) have busted a gang involved in taking girls from poor families abroad after nikkah (marriage) and forcing them into prostitution.

According to LEAs, the gang lures educated girl from poor families in Sargodha by offering them attractive jobs abroad through internet and social media.

Gang members then marry these girls to reassure their families about their safety. However, once the girls are taken abroad, usually to places in UAE, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, they are forced into selling their bodies by the same gang members who married them.

According to Daily Khabrain, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other concerned departments are now conducting raids in Sargodha and other parts of the country to arrest culprits involved in this prostitution ring.

Meanwhile, separate efforts are also being made to arrest leaders and companions of Maqsood Laqsia group and Javaid group from Sargodha.
