ISLAMABAD – Renowned preacher and scholar Dr Zakir Naik has arrived in Pakistan and will stay until October 28.
Upon his arrival at New Islamabad Airport, he was welcomed by the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rana Mashhood, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Syed Dr Atta-ur-Rehman, Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs Shamsheer Ali Mazari, and others.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs spokesperson, Dr Zakir Naik will address public gatherings in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, as well as lead and deliver the Friday prayers.
He will also meet high-ranking government officials during his stay and participate in public events.
Rana Mashhood praised Dr Zakir Naik’s scholarly contributions, stating that his Islamic insight fosters trust and conviction.
Dr Zakir Naik was escorted to Islamabad under tight security.
