ISLAMABAD – Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif has appointed Marriyam Aurangzeb as the state minister for Information and Broadcasting.
The formal notification for Marriyam Aurangzeb appointment will be issued shortly, officials said on Monday.

The new Information minister was educated at Federal Government College, Islamabad (BA), Quaid-i-Azam University (MSc, Economics) and King’s College London (MSc, Environment and Development). She occupies one of the 60 seats in the National Assembly reserved for women.
