Obama danced to traditional Gangham Style song in Kenya

NAIROBI (Web Desk) – During his two-day trip to Kenya, US President Barack Obama performed Kenya’s version of “Gangham Style” at Nairobi’s State House, reported The Independent.

Obama jammed at Kenya’s traditional folk dance song, The Lipala, that has made a resurgence after it was remade by Sauti Sol, a Kenyan afro-pop band based in Nairobi.

“I suspect that some of my critics back home are suspecting that I’m back here to look for my birth certificate. That’s not the case,” President Obama joked earlier on Saturday.

The trip marks the first time a US president has paid a visit to Kenya and Ethiopa.
