Mumbai – The highlight of 2018 has everything to do with weddings. After Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, reports have been spreading Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar might be getting married.
This comes after several couples like Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal, Arjun Kapoor-Malaika Arora have been setting up rumor mills about their weddings.
Recently, ringing in the New Year, Farhan and Shibani spend time together with Farhan’s kids and it looked like they bonded really well.
Akhtar had shared a photo of the entire family with Shibani. The couple has now been cited on several occasions including Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Mumbai reception where the two walked hand-in-hand and posed stylishly for the shutterbugs.

An Indian daily report suggests that the couple is planning on taking their relationship to the next level. A source told the publication ‘DNA’ that “They are extremely serious about each other and Farhan’s kids have also warmed up to Shibani, so this (marriage) looks like the most obvious step for the two.” It does seem obvious as the couple has been pretty serious now since they keep sharing a glimpse of their dates on Instagram.

On the work front, Farhan recently released his new single Jaane Ye Kyun Kiya. He is also co-producing Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. It also stars Kalki Koechlin and Kubbra Sait and is set to release on February 14.

Shibani and Farhan’s relationship caught the limelight when she accompanied Farhan on his tour in Canada in 2018.
