MUMBAI – Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh unveiled the trailer of Gully Boy at a grand event on Wednesday (yesterday). Director Zoya Akhtar and producers of the film, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani were also present. And they all had a blast at the event.
During the media interaction, Team Gully Boy made some interesting revelations about the film. Apart from talking about the film, Ranveer and Alia spoke a little bit about their respective partners.
When Alia was asked to strike out similarities between Ranveer and her beau Ranbir, the actress replied, “They have quite a few similarities. They are both superb human beings and are outstanding actors. Both of them are special to me. The only difference is that I’m doing Gully Boy with one and Brahmastra with other.”
But Ranveer being his usual style, at an instant added, “Ek thoda zyada special hai, ek thoda kam.” And Miss Bhatt couldn’t stop blushing.

Apart from the fun part, speaking about playing the lead role in Gully Boy, Ranveer shared at the trailer launch: “When somebody told me about the script of Gully Boy, I told them that it is my film. If any other actor would have been a part of this film instead of me then I would have got burnt with jealousy. I was born to do Gully Boy and I knew only I can pull off this character”.

Gully Boy also stars Vijay Raaz, Chaitanya Sharma, and Kalki Koechlin. The Ranveer and Alia starrer will be hitting the cinemas on February 14.
