PESHAWAR – Peshawar Zalmi on Wednesday released their official Pashto anthem for the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League. The anthem is being sung by Gul Panra and Zeek Afridi, the song in the Pashto language is written by Laiq Zada.
The jungle is based on the historical heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the potential of the Youth, a press release issued by the PSL franchise read.
“This anthem inspires the youth to do their best every step of the way and make a mark for themselves in the world,” it added.
Peshawar Zalmi chairman Javed Afridi said, “The Pashto anthem is the voice of the hearts of the people of KP. Peshawar Zalmi Team will perform well in PSL 4 and win the hearts of Zalmi Fans once again.”

The Pakistan Super League 2019 edition, PSL 2019, is scheduled to take place from February 14 to March 17, 2019. The tournament, which is officially labeled as ‘HBL PSL 2019’ and formally referred to as ‘PSL 4’, would kick off in the UAE but the last eight matches would be played in Pakistan.
