Kamal Khan’s directorial debut now has a trailer and has us eagerly waiting for the film to come out. Laal Kabootar, produced by duo Hania Chima and Kamil Chima, stars Ahmed Ali Akbar and Mansha Pasha in lead roles.
From the looks of it, Ahmed is playing the role of a hustling taxi driver who had hoped to move out of Karachi and to Dubai. It also features Mansha Pasha, playing the stubborn and strong Aliya Malik and the duo seem to be making some sort of deal. But Ahmed looks like he is failing to keep his side of the promise.
The teaser has definitely left us intrigued and is unlike anything we’ve seen in the Pakistani film industry before. The action-packed sequences and blinding pace of the trailer has us excited for its release.
Laal Kabootar will hit cinemas on March 22, 2019, and it certainly strays away from what the Pakistani film industry has to offer typically.
